Do a short game drive through the conservancy where your safari camp is situated and arrive in time for lunch. After a rest, set off on an afternoon game drive to explore the national park with your guide, returning to camp for drinks at sunset and dinner. Explore Tarangire with your driver-guide, taking a picnic lunch to go out for a full day drive, exploring this diverse national park in search of its flora and fauna. Depart with your guide and private vehicle, game driving on your way out of the park and then driving to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch, to explore this small but vibrant park. The lakeshore is home to flocks of flamingos and pelicans, whilst the forests are home to elephant, bushbuck and a variety of monkeys. In the mid-afternoon, you’ll drive onward, up the wall of the Great Rift Valley and into the Ngorongoro highlands, characterised by a patchwork quilt of small farms and coffee plantations. Stay near the market town of Karatu for the next two nights.

Enjoy game drives in the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ngorongoro Crater today. This dormant volcano provides a natural sanctuary for a wonderful diversity of wildlife, including black rhino, lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard and more. Typically you will spend the morning exploring with your guide, have a picnic lunch and then depart in the mid-afternoon to your lodge to relax for the remainder of the day.
An early breakfast before you depart with your driver-guide for the open plains of the Serengeti. Once you’re within the Serengeti you will game drive as you make your way north to the central region of the park, stopping to enjoy wildlife sightings on the way. Arrive at your camp in the mid/late afternoon and enjoy a well earned rest before dinner.
